I didn't see where you question was answered. Sorry if it was and I missed it.

The Non-Carb Blitz cans have a hole in the flat area around the threaded part of the can. This allows the can to draw air as the fuel is depleted. The pour spout uses a smaller gasket and allows this hole to be open when fueling. The CARB cans do not have this hole and they get air from the internal channel in the spout. When the cap is installed, the hole is covered with the larger gasket on the cap.

Damn...I wrote too soon. I received a voicemail this afternoon informing me my order was cancelled (the weekend sales order staff was underinformed I suppose). As you mentioned they'll only sell these to military/LE.

I do wish I had ordered the spouts back when I ordered the cans.

I phoned in a order back in January or February and missed the cut-off date by a few weeks. Sooner or later procrastination gets ya.

DS Tactical in Canada (https://dstactical.com/) will sell and ship to US address, at least from some of the stuff I've read elsewhere. Haven't tried them out yet.

GO here . DS id out of BC.. I got three shipped to me in Cali during the summer.. Great guys to deal with.

We found this place on the Blue forum and they sold out and had to reorder.. shipping is kind of pricey though.. But they do have what you want..

Last I heard BQ will not sell Secpter Cans to Civilians..

Yes they can. If the gasket is in good shape you shouldn't ever leak even with the can on its side.

These might work for some, but their durability and build quality isn't even a quarter of the Scepter Military cans.

FYI

I work in DC and have a project that requires working on the grounds of the white house. ALL of the NPS groundsmen were riding around in john deere UTVs with beat up, non-CARB compliant cans rolling around in the cargo bo ....go figure.

You can make use of the no-spill fuel can I bought online. It's a real value for money.

I got 2 from the same guy on ebay. Condition is used but definitely serviceable. They have been used for diesel and gasket will need to be changed.

some new MFC's available on eghey for a reasonable but not great price of $79. But considering what I paid for shipping out of Canada this is pretty much the same deal.

Just last night i placed an order on DS for 4 MFC's.

E-mail i got this morning...

The comments for your order are
we do not ship these items to the usa. i will cancel the order. sorry

Your order has been updated to the following status.
New status: Pending
Please reply to this email if you have any questions.

:( e-ghey here i come.

Edit:
Just ordered 4 from ebey then i started looking for spouts.
Found some here:
http://www.tacticalcommunications.bi...ate/about/Page
Not cheap, but there were no large banners reading "No longer stocked" or "will no ship" or any nonsense like that so hopefully i'll get it.
