| what exactly is it that broke?
from what I read recently, you can adapt the new ladder, which is reportedly sturdier. $50 or so IIRC.

| I bought the new ladder during CM from chado, I just didnt like the original metal one, But I will say that I have had my whole family(2 adults,2 kids) in mine I weigh 177lbs the wife is less and the 2 little monsters are 40 and 50 lbs we never had an issue after multiple uses before the new aluminum ladder.
Good luck |

| That ladder looks like it was made for some overweight Chinese guy. Jeezzz I am in the 250 pound club and feel your pain. Everything that seems like a deal must be scrutenised, if its made overseas it aint made for us big boys. Period.
Crunch!
Try and get your money back

| I am about 2 hundo and have been worried about the ladder, especially when coming down. Email mel, tell him you are from mud, and see if he can make you a deal.

Mel is the guy that we bought all of these from in 2006. He is the main distributor for these I believe. Good guy; he'll probably give you a nice price for the newer ladder.

There is also a Luis IIRC (distributor?) and the guy with the gal nick or v.v. - vague memories, sorry...

Since Roundu, I have not used it until this past weekend. I ordered the new ladder from Mel last week. It is sturdy. Just got back form ICBM and used it there. Will post some pics to show you guys what I had to do to get the new ladder working.

Just look at the angle of that ladder | Interesting, that improved mobassa ladder looks a lot like the standard Autohome ladder.
