Synthetic winch rope brand/type?

I just bought a M12000 and before I mount it I'm seriously considering an aluminum fairlead with synthetic rope for reasons of safety, strength, and weight. What is the best brand and type to buy, also what weight rating would I need for a fully armored 80? Just to mention the winch is there for a "just in case" situation and probably will only get used several times a year, with that fact should I save my money and keep the steel cable? My other concern is that since it won't be used much I'm afraid the time I need it it will be a weakened UV, water, salt spray, damaged POS.

Thanx in advance
George

This is what I have been running the past 2+ years (3/8"). Works great...not cheap...but lightweight and easy to use. I did have to use it in the mud this spring and just for good maintenance sake I washed it after getting home...no big deal.
