12V 8274 on 24V

I've heard you can run an older 12V 8274 on 24V, any opinions?

Call Warn?
They have a very good tech support.
I'd worry about burning out the relay coils.

lol..I was trying to call him, but ran out of time, got him, and all is well, bought a 12V 8274...

... and did Wayne tell you to change the relays? I am still looking for and older 8274 that I can test that on. Donations for the sake of scientific research gladly accepted.

I' still trying to see just what i have...it's the old style, three wire conrol box, plastic plug...I'm buildinga bumper tomorow night, and will go from there...
