Hold up your Mombasa travel cover

It’s a little thing but having the travel cover on Mombasa RTTs just hanging there when off, has always bugged me. Here is the solution I came up with. It’s a strap with a loop on the end attached to the tent’s perimeter frame. The looped end is attached to the travel cover’s anti-ballooning strap. The straps are 8" long and attached them with #8 – 1” self tapping screws

Nice idea and speaking of straps, does anyone know what the two long straps inside the tent are for? They are attached to two of the top supports on either side, bout 5 feet long and have velcro on the ends.

Photogod, there are for steadying your self when climbing in and out of the tent. On trailers where most of my tents go, most people don't use them.

I guess I have to drink more to have to use them in that fashion!
