no kids (mine or the girlfriends )just me and the girlfriend alone for the weekend!!!
she does not think driving all that way when we could spend the weekend competing in the bedroom olympics makes sense .
sorry i cannot pass up that offer ....from her that is .
best wishes i will be available in two weeks .plus i got new exaust direct from the local stealership for less than $200.00 score as far as i am concerned .

still more
my favorite of the whole bunch is the last pic looking over such a beautiful country.....
I should have backed off a bit from Romey's 40 to get a wider field of view.... but this photography thing is new to me.
thanks again to Wayne and Romey for yet another fantastic wheeling trip....
and Bernadette - again - that lasagna you made for dinner was fantastic!!!

ooh, nice shots Rusty!!
okay, so i made it to kincardine, went straight to the mass band parade on the main strip with the fam, wow, that was fun! i'm sure you've already seen this Rusty! didn't know they did it every saturday the entire summer, rain or shine...
anyway, the rest of today was fun, we went to town, had some wicked fish n chips and then a quick stroll on the baordwalk...the weather was really windy, unusually windy, and this brought hoards of surfers and kite surfers....i spot a yellow 60 in the distance, we have a chat, turns out to be a friend of Matt (jdm 60), and he knows a few other cruiserheads in the area. small world!
so now, pics!
some green 40 at the shop....
oh yeah, big THANKS to Wayne and Rusty for showin me how to take a leaf out!! i had fun wrenchin on the 40!
after the back end was done, myself and Rusty went for a quick drive to test out the suspension, we went to a sand quarry close by.... went up one hill, then another, up and over the hill, and started to head down a different way....the path looked alright, when all of a sudden, wooaah, woaaah, bam! there was a drop right infront of us!! we coulda sworn teh rig was goin to endo, and we were standing on the floor boards (truck was just on 2H). rusty came out to lock the front hubs, i kept my foot on the brake, then Rusty took some shots and vids (comin soon)... started the 40 back up, put it in 4Low and down and out i came! whew!!
so we head back, got our stuff ready, then headed off to the trails...
we hit this one trail that just ended, nothin but trees that we couldn't fit through...

where's the doggy?
saw some nice berries along the way...
Rusty wanted to see how my 40 would look with Waynes tractor tires!

hells yeah!

thanks again Rusty for blingin my hinge bolts!
recognize this HJ60 Mat?!
. . . the lasagna.....holly delicious!!! and thanks again for havin us Wayne n Bernie! i really had an awesome time! can't wait for the next lil run!
romey

I liked Romey's 40 with the tractor tires so much, I decided to try them on my 08 Pontiac Torrent

he has been wheeling with me since he was a puppy, he just sits there and watches the world go by, the little girl in the back seat, she isn't so keen on wheeling. if the engine revs then she shakes.
Cruiser's hips will not let him do more than an hour or two of bouncing so his wheeling days are winding down.
Rusty, i have to agree, the 36s on the Torrent look cool but i would rather see them on your 80.
the Cruiser Spa, yah, i like it.
so first snowy weekend we will go back to that spot and try the hills when there is limited traction. thanks for making the drive up Romey.

i was impressed since i was running the street tires in that slopy mud/clay pit. if i had installed the tractor tires i could have just idled through.

Weekend Run
Man
That would have been fun. My little 42 would have been lost in those holes.
I would need a periscope instead of a snorkle Ha Ha.
Looks like you guys had a blast.

actually, you would have been surprised where that little 42 would have made it too...
of course you would have had a wet dirty floor but a huge smile on your face.

i hope you learned to walk the hill before driving it now Romey...that could have EASILY ended up with a trip to the hospital and the truck on the end of a winch heading off to the impound lot...
play safe guys.
