One too many cruisers...

Hello:

I am now the owner of a 1984 BJ60 (tentatively named Fafnir). It was JL's (fromage on here) root beer brown beast. This is a good thing.

However, SWMBO has informed me that now my long term project/dream must go, hopefully to a good home. Details:
1974 FJ40
SBC Conversion
35's
Rancho suspension
Hard doors, soft doors and a soft-top with bars

It has major cancer back of the seats, some of it covered by 3/4 diamond plate, and has not run in a while.

Would anyone be interested?

Hi Regan, I just live down the street from J-L and am the president of the local club - which I hope you are joining?

How much for the truck - and what kind of 35's?

What are you forging?

I paid $500 for it and have since acquired the softop/doors and bows. Got the starting of the Saginaw conversion in the barn as well. I'm open.

I'm pretty booked as far as time goes for the club (community commitments include sound/light, pipe major, artistic director...) but I will see if I can spring some time and cash to join

Forging wise....if I could get to the damn thing (physically and metaphorically) I like doing small stuff (garden thingies, fire place tools etc) but I apprentice with a canon maker (much bigger stuff).

Very cool, I deal with antique steel - japanese swords, forging is an artform.

Don't worry about he club fees- we won;t be collecting cash until early next year when the annual general meeting is held.

What's your phone number - I'm interested in the cruiser. Can you email it to me at 613-614-7852

You're a piper - you know any guys from the Ottawa Fire Dept pipe band?
