March Minutes
We had a huge crowd on hand at our monthly meeting with 20 people attending, two of those being new victims, er, I mean visitors (sorry I didn't catch your names). A huge thanks to Cody and his Dad for adding great comedy to the meeting. I never laughed so hard about someone taking their sweet time on their rig, and getting to take Dad's rig out when he wanted to go wheeling, thus reducing the motivation to finish his own rig (it hasn't even been out of the driveway to do any curb stacking for crying out loud!!! Not that I have any room to be pointing a finger and laughing, but I can still laugh)
Past runs Mike went to Bob's property in Mix Canyon to play and had a great time. He mentioned something about being able to have a club BBQ up there sometime... Close, beautiful, places to wheel... sounds like a winner to me!!!! I went on a snow run with some friends from several other clubs (see my photographic write up post for some good laughs Sunday Snow Run 2/17) I'm not sure if anyone from this club went on the run with the cliffhangers on the 9th, but everyone had a good time there. Food was great, and the wheeling was decent. Future Runs Valley Off Road Racing starts back up next month (April 5th and 6th) at Prairie City. Same offer as last season applies to those interested in helping out with the recovery crew: Free admission for the volunteers, t-shirt-lunch, and the best seats in the house!!!! Please contact Cougarfreak for more information or to voice interest in helping out. Rubithon is just around the corner, June 18th - 22nd. We'd like to get a count of who to expect so we can judge camping spaces to try and keep everyone close. After all, camping and bench wheeling with fellow club members are half the fun of a good run!!!! Not to mention a great way to get to know each other. News Club Decals are available from our treasurer Brian. He was MIA this meeting, but we anticipate his attendance next meeting. We are looking into getting an order placed for t-shirts/hoodies/windbreakers and are working out the semantics to be voted on next meeting. It will most likely be a pre-paid request, then order situation. We should have a catalog for you to look at possibilities next meeting as well. New News We have several project rigs being worked on: Cody's non-curb stacking J**P - needs to borrow a welder to finish... My 4Runner - just need time to finish the D60 install/ D44 re-install. There were others, but I failed to note them (Sorry) That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!!!! Wheel on!!!!
