SnT surf forecast...holy @#$* !!!

For those who plan to surf at SnT:

Wetsand is forecasting double to triple overhead long period swell at Pismo for the weekend. Hell Yeah! I just hope it's surfable as I'll be longboarding...

Beach break + double/triple overhead + long board = OH $%!* I brought the wrong board!

I looked at the Pismo Pier cam this morning and it looks very mellow right now, but it is supposed to pick up this evening and tomorrow.

I will be surfing Churches tomorrow morning where it will only be 3' - 5'.

Yeah, and my regular longboard is disassembled for repair so I'll be on my Bisect. I broke the Bisect once in overhead surf so I won't paddle out if it's too big. Usually it turns out to be a lot smaller than the forecast says so it should be fun.

Last year was double over head and totally walled up. A friend of ours was in a contest at the pier and it was ruthlessly consistent. Very few contestants caught more than one wave before being swept down the beach. I have yet to hit it good during SnT maybe this will be the year but it's not looking like it?
