Blackstone oil test results back

Last week I was convinced that the head gasket had started leaking. Before I got too worried, I had Blackstone test the oil. Came back clean as a whistle. No coolant, no abnormal wear, nothing. Clean bill of health. Amen!

For $25 this service is brilliant and well worth the money for those who haven't been tested...

That's great news! I might just have to do this one of these days. Assume you just grab a sample of oil when you do an oil change? I won't be due for one for a couple thousand miles and at the rate I use the truck these days that could be this fall!

I pumped it out of the dipstick with a little $5 pump from harbor freight. It's the same for me with oil changes - i only need to change oil once a year or so.
