The and I are heading out to Palm Desert tomorrow but it is supposed to drop 10 degrees, so should be nice.

I will be staying near water and drinks.

Just got back from a trip to my brothers place in Bullhead City- Highest temp was 119 degrees. When we got there Friday, it took three hours to cool the house down to a comfortable 80 degrees . His house is right on the river - so we spent most of the time in the water. Running up the river in the the boat felt like someone was pointing a blow dryer in your face, so we spent most of the time on the jet ski's - you got wetter and stayed cooler.

When I got home yesterday- 104 did not seem that bad.

well, it was 105+ maybe 110 in the Riverside area, did the climb up to Big Bear with A/C on full blast. Did get once to 220 briefly but otherwise the highs were about 215. Not too bad. ATF did get up a few times to 200, though. Man, sure glad I had the a/c working....

even my gray one with the r12 a/c is having issues in 110+ degree heat.. Now I know why all the overseas desert models had an aux electric fan.....I may add an electric fan next to the trans cooler to help the a/c at idle... I also thought about the Mickey Rubicon fan mod .......

Yeah, he has a fan mounted on top of his hood. It's quite the 'cut'.

The other side of his rig has a BEVMO decal... pretty funny. Met him
at the Calico Cleanup '07.

It was 115 when we got there and it settled down to a cool 101 today when we left. Not bad at all.

We didn't take the Cruiser, but I drove it everyday untill and including Sun AM with no rise in temp at all. My radiator is original and ready to blow at any minute so my fingers are crossed big time.

I know it wasn't yours, just dreaming right along side you. I need to find a place out there to leave the boat but it is hard to beat the free storage I have local.

Hijack off. Sorry Giulitto
