That is sweet. I am looking forward to getting my boy his first Cruiser. He will not be getting one of those Heeps or Hummers. Where did you find that one?

That's the new FJ Gaucho, right? Pure Electric? 100 miles on a charge? Off-road capable? yes, can't wait.

Very cool to see early exposure to the sport. Hope you have as good a time with yours as I have had with mine - son that is.

I see you live in Ventura - you wouldn't happen to live on the street near David C., the Chiropractor with all the old Volvo's? I just bought a car and trans from him and saw a nice looking cruiser down the street.

Just wondering.

modified_power_wheels_Millino_Jr_Peg_Perego_Gaucho _4x4.avi

yeah, there's a guy on my street with a bunch of Volvo's. There's a nice white wagon missing it's engine.
Ipd built, er sumthin.

I found this one on Ebay, scored it last year from a wealthy guy down in LA, even left his Ferrari owners Club sticker on it.

and there's even a forum for modding them too:Modified Power Wheels - General Discussion

I hope he's able to drive it next year at Surf n Turf . Doubt he'll be big enough at one year old.

do you have to have a seat installed in the rig to attsach a kid seat to it?
couldn't I just bolt the kid seat to the same location with a fabbed up bracket instead?
I have all the seats tore out of my rig for gear, and would rather have the boy in the center. but now I'm thinking that the padding of the factory back seat probly has some function in the kid seat attachment design.

also, looking for recommendations on forward facing seats. Britax any good?

found a sweet F1 BMW model, wonder if Toyota has some?

yeah, Bluto...he'll be wanting the keys soon!
But I'll be on the Rubicon in 2 weeks!

I imagine if you built a super strong bracket system that ties in with the seat mounting points it would be safe. I would have to guess that it might be illegal due to the fact that there are alot of idiots out there that would build something not nearly as strong as stock and if stock the police could tell at a quick glance that the mounting is secure as long as the seat is strapped in properly.

On forward facing car seats my wife is super anal and checked inccestantly on different brands and thier reviews by those who have acutally used them. She found the Britax were very well rated but we have the Evenflo, not sure which exact model but it is the convertable that can go from rear facing to forward facing. It was safety rated top like the Britax but the reviews showed it a little easier to use and it costs about $100 less. We like it so much we just had a new cover made for it for our little girl who will be joining us soon and plan on reusing it for her. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the info on the Cruiser. That video is classic, need to get that kid some lockers.

watch it alan, them's fightin words....

Bring your kids to the SNT and i'll let them wheel the Gaucho too!

no doubt I want lockers....at this point might just buy another whole rig and harvest them.
hopefully get it together this fall, gunna be a slow trickle of a project. I wish I could get to one of these meetings and actually have a mod to show off for once.
