how much you want? GE 1009 silicone will seal it to yur roof and it's good for up to -200 degrees, and flame reatardant also.

That would be so sweet. Like having a skylight. I wonder if it would get too hot?

That or run some carbon fiber up top..... Come now tell me that wouldn't look cool on an all black rig, of course then u would have to do the hood.

Things have been hectic and it sucks waiting for parts. Finished with the chop, ditched the old steering cooler for that massive blingy finned piece from PSC. Hydro just arrived, So much to do and so little time. Steering box is unbolted and ready to be pulled. The killer is that my welder is toast, and hydro assist is not going to stay on w/ duct tape. time for a , brainstorming and another "to do" list.

few pics enjoy

have you looked into the PRK laws on windshields? As in a windshield is mandatory or it has to be glass etc...?

E, always a Debbie downer with the law and reality . I do appreciate the concern and it will have a windshield, 70mph on the freeway is not very feasible and I'm not about to wear a full helmet.

Here is the weekend dose since I will not get back to working on the rig until Monday night.

Finished the Hysteer setup. I just have to space it out properly and bolt it all in.

that was not a subtle reminder... I'm just curious about what we can and can't do. I'm starting to plan for when I roll mine. Definitely will be a convertible too... and I want a foldable windshield if any at all

I have driven from big bear to Costa Mesa with out a windshield after laying the 40 on its side. It sucks driving on the freeway everything hits you in the face, bugs, junk, trash, windshield washer fluid from the car in front of you. I have done it around town just for kicks and is fun at speeds under 35, when i asked a cop friend of mine he said they have better things to do than bust guys with out windshields but said i should have 2 mirrors.

What's with the blacked out Turn Signals? Are they taped and you just painted it?

Sam, have you considered sawing off all the top stuff, and putting in a cage that would also serve as support for a canvas top and a windshield? Expensive, of course, but a clean different look and strong.

Since I relocated the turn sigs to the corner lights I just painted over the lights with black paint. If you can call it a mod then that was probably my first, circa 2003. Ideally I'd replace the whole light with some sheet metal when I paint her, but I doubt I'll trouble with it.

C'mon Sam, all that body cutting and you aren't going to mod the front sheet metal?

Now that I think about it, what are you doing for a front bumper since Ammo is keeping his bumper, and rig? (Sweet call by the way)

I am thinking something that eliminates that whole body section below the grill, kind of like what GreatLakesWaterjet did with his front bumper. Know anyone who could help you fab this sort of thing.
