I can work on your cruiser!! (CARLSBAD, CA)

Hi All,

Well, I have decided to try to make some extra $$ using my skills as a landcruiser nerd that I have acquired over the years.

For those whom don't know me. I am fairly active in the ih8mud community and with other landcruiser enthusiasts here in San Diego and Socal in general. I am a member of geared 4 fun 4x4 club and know several of the good folks at beach and toys (tlca club). I own 3 cruisers right now. A 96 Fzj80 wagon, a 1973 built FJ40 and am in the process of restoring a 1970 FJ55 Wagon. I have been working on cruisers since the age of about 16 (am 36 now). I am definetly no expert, but know enough that I do all the work on my own trucks. A few pics below of my trucks.

A few pics of my small home shop below. Messy right now, just moved. I have most things necessary to do most maintenance, fab work, etc on cruisers. The FJ55 I recently had on a rotisserie and I have gotten very competent at welding in new sheetmetal to fix rusted old metal. To see more of my work, pm me or check out the links below (my sig line) for pics and writeups. Best thing to do is to pm me and let me know what you are looking to have done and we can talk. I am a full time stay at home dad right now so I am always happy to have anyone come by to chat or bring their truck by for a look see.

I will be working on Pat's piggy project in the near future and am helping Chris with a few things coming up. For a quote please pm me, depending on the work I can quote it hourly or as a full job price. For some stuff like rust cut out and repair it is near impossible to quote for a job price as you never know what you are going to run into. For things like a full axle seal/bearings job, it is a bit easier to estimate. I won't do any work that I am not confident I can complete in a timely and correct fashion.

As always I am here to help in any way for free as well. I would gladly have a conversation with you to help in anyway I can if you are considering doing the work yourself. I have done this is the past for many mudders and have enjoyed hearing about their results.

On a side note, for you 80 owners, I am working on designing a few products that I hopefully will have out and available in the next month or 2. Details to come soon.

Thanks again for the bandwidth and have a great day driving your cruiser!!

**NOTE: I hesitated to post this here and make it a sticky as I did not want to be seen as "self promoting" as I am the mod in this forum. I decided to do it anyhow and open up the forum to anyone else whom would like to promote their products and / or service here if they are looking to make some extra $$. The only restriction I have is that it is for socal personal mudders only (no businesses). I want this to be a local homegrown products and services thing. If you start a thread just pm me and I can make it a sticky.

Can't say enough good things about Noah and his work. He will fix your truck the right way not just solve some little issue that might pop up again later. His work speaks for itself....solid guy all around. He helped me do my head gasket job and schooled me on the basics of my engine along the way. I tried in vain to search around SD for a reliable/knowlegeable mechanic to work on my rig but stoked I found a friend that would take way better care than any shop around town hands down.

Here are a few pics of Mark's (bluetribal) hitch rack gas can carrier. I am happy with the way it came out.
