73 FJ40 great condition hard top for sale, San Diego

Moving and want to sell my great condition hard top off my 73 FJ40. $800. Pick up only, I will not ship. The top is Freeborn Red. I know how much it is worth so please no low ball offers. I've had the top stored in my garage for over two years since I've had the truck so it's in great shape. All locks and mechanisms work as they should, glass and seals are good as well. I am running an Ehsan soft top and live in SD so I just don't really need the hard top and would like to sell it before I move Oct 1. but I do have room for it at my new place and it will make the move if I don't get a decent price for it. I built a custom storage/transport frame that I will include with the sale. Please let me know if you have any questions or want to take a look at it. I'm gonna put it up on Craigslist and Ebay in a couple days but thought I would list it here on Mud first.

Yeah they already started emailing me. One guy thought I was selling my whole truck for 800. Looks like more than likely I will be moving with this thing.

there's another clean top and doors on cragis list for 1k. Seems like your in the right ball park for price.

I'm lobbing my junk up there too.

Still cannot decide if I want to ditch my hard top yet. Mine is not in as good of condition as yours, but I have been storing it for the past 6 years, and don't ever seeing it going back on. Maybe we should offer a bulk shipment of a few of these to the east cost where they need them.

Yeah let me know if you get any bites....and that other one on CL is painted a funky solid color without the cygnus white capped roof. Haven't gotten any kind of response what so ever so basically resigned to the fact of moving with it and hoisting into the rafters. Didn't post on ebay though.

Not a bad idea. I have a extra set of decent amby doors (off a '78 IIRC) I have been waiting for fall/winter to try to move when the demand was there. I would go in with you if you are looking to make something happen.
