Post Holiday Cruiserhead meeting???
Is it time for a post holiday get together? We could meet at pizza port again, or possibly a location with a parking lot?
Maybe we should schedule a day to knock out a few projects on someones truck? Some other clubs have done this and I think it worked out well.

Sounds good, I missed out on the PP event last time, so it would be nice to meet everyone else and check out everyone's rigs. Another good spot is Stone Brewery in North County (Escondido) since they have a huge parking lot, but whatever works best for everyone.

Sounds good, also like the idea about getting together to work on each others rigs. I figure with all the help you guys could do a PS conversion on my truck in no time flat. Stone brewery rocks!...although the coffee porter I had at PP a little while back was amazing. I tried to replicate it in a couple bottles of my last batch but didn't come out so great. Thanks for getting this going again Brett!

This sounds like a weiner to me.
I'm down.
I no long have a current list of stuff to do, as am concentrating on work, but maybe some who have a list could start to post them up so there could be a gathering of random parts we all have laying around.

Trade ????????
I have a pair of long jump seats I would like to trade for a pair of nice fenders for my 73 fj40, if anyone who is going is interested.
I am also interested in buying a nice hood too.
thanks yo.

One side foot is missing, and the feet on the left one are there, but still have old rusty cruiser tub bolted on. They pulled out of the rust bucket they came from.

The 17/18/19th is a long weekend, but maybe that would work-saturday afternoon? Who's hosting? Or pizza/beer at a brewery?

Get Casey to babysit Sienna. Better yet, send Casey to the cruiser meeting as your representative...

Sounds like my place may be the spot. South Oceanside, freeway friendly just off the 5 and the 78. Coast friendly for those who don't have cruisers in freeway condition!
Noah should be there.
Bring the girl. Sienna can hang and kick tires, throw up on the driveway or snooze in the spare bedroom.

I will get a babysitter OR I will bring her along for a few hours.
so what's the agenda and what project are we going to tackle on who's truck?

Dom's needs some tune up attention,
Calixto's needs some fuel line work, to replace the hose and improper routing of fuel inlet.
My FJ55 needs a fuel return line made.
For anyone else needing fuel hardlines(pump to carb), I am going to bring the tools to knock these out... you will need to bring supplies. hardline, olives(compression ferrules) and nuts if youre missing them. Old carbs/fuel pumps are good sources of the inlet and outlet fittings.
Napa has the 51" 5/16" hardlines you need(813-1234). return lines should work with the 40" versions but the supply line is very close to 40" and you might not have enough length.
here are my thoughts:
Tune up items, timing, Compression tests, plugs wires, etc. are pretty easy, and wont make too much mess.
Custom battery cables are pretty easy if someone has a crimper or there is a west marine around.
Ideas?

I'll bring up a couple of my homebrews for tasting and drag along some of my extra parts so people can look thru to see if they need anything. I do have my old Rochester carb I pulled of for the current stock one so I'll bring that.
Hey Brett what type of fitting should I buy to cap the old return line/Banjo fitting that is being used as fuel delivery right now. Scott worked on sealing this thing forever and told me not to remove it so it might be a good idea just to cap it if possible so he doesn't ring my neck next time he sees my truck. It has just a standard rubber gas line running into it...is that 5/16"?

I'd say keeping it sealed is a good thing, but... if you can't work on it then it's not "right" now is it? We should get it sealed correctly so you don't have to treat it like a Monet.

I'm up for all of the above. I guess I better get the garage organized. I've been putting it off since the motor swap...
I have a battery cable crimper...
