Cruise Moab 08

Will we have a raffle quorum? Who's going for sure?

I know Tony, Mudrak and myself will be there. Rondu? Roger? Tim? Who else is heading out there (and when?)

I'll be at Slickrock in #161, driving the TRD.

I'm not going to make it. Andy and Eric just got back after a full week down there with his new buggy he built. They left Moab early because it was boring and went to a location south of that?? Did all the trails there then ran over to the Hammers for the rest of the time.
He did say he's glad he went to Moab. The landscape and the area was nice. He said wheeling there was for old guys like me. WHAAAAT!!!!
I think we've got a bone head award- Andy blew up a 3rd member down there in his mini-truck, hey, no problem pull out the spear plug it in and away you go. Only to find out the 3rd you installed has the wrong gears in it and the rear end wants to push the front end around. NOTE: check spear parts for fit and ratio's before leaving home.

How'd his new buggy work out?

Great, as far as I know. He did say he was into the rev-limter on his new Vortec motor alot and the only damage after a week of wheeling was a broken drive belt on his on board welder.

I am pretty sure we will. Many others are going such as Kelly D, and a few others. I think we'll be surprised to see how many PMC members are present.

I would also suggest PMC offer up one of our 08 prizes for their raffle. Perhaps a Tshirt or two also.

good times are going to be had.

and Eric, he just has not learned how to have fun... he figures if he isn't breaking things, he is not having fun. Again, that young buck has a lot to learn about what is fun and what is really fun.

Moab... its going to be really really fun.

I have a seat open, if anyone wants to go. My daughter can't miss school, and a friend that wanted to go, can't.

Leaving Sunday.

Bummer about your co-pilot... I would like to put KT or Cindy in your extra seat on a day or two when you have an opening. Cindy has already noted not wanting to run hardcore trails all week... what a girl.

Cindy's always welcome... KT too... I'm going to leave one rear seat in, and yank the other side, so there's room for both.

Thursday is Cliff Hanger with the Trail Team and Warren Miller films... It'd be good to have a co-pilot for that one, just for picture taking.

sweet! I am very appreciative, I think it would be awesome for KT to ride along with another group (kinda like away from mom and dad stuff).

Not sure on our fax number,it is one of those that sends me an email with a fax attached... will confirm.

Also, Phil and I both look forward to seeing you at Slickrock and sampling your board of fare (ribs).
We'll have plenty of chow going on too. Should be yummy!

back on topic... pulling and cleaning gear today... will be loading next week friday all day, then hitting the road Saturday, two full 10 hrs days... overnight in Wendover for some gambling.

Woo Hoo! stoked.

A most awesome time for us and PMC at CM!

The participation raffle found 16 members entered, with at least 4 new members. Larry Kitahara won, and then promptly donated the C note to the Raffle on behalf of PMC. I believe our club was the largest one there, except for Rising Sun of course.

Ron Safreno has turned into a picture taking, IT master! You can expect to see lots of action af Fun Day when he puts on his slide show.

Larry K had an excellent time... I know, we took him with us.

Seriously, the best CM I have attended... more to come!

Tony

Thanks Dave!

Yes, they had a "chalk walk" Saturday in downtown Vallejo. As you can tell, Hannah was missing her Daddy. She drew that all on her own... Tina helped her with the Rainbow, but hannah drew the FJC all on her own.
