Fun Day in May... discussion/plan/attend thread

PMC Fun day! May... I don't know, look at Dion's calendar... may 17th at the remarkable cruiser play ground called the Henry's place.

Ross is the man, some of us are helping.

Supposed to be horseshoes in the shade this year.

Right between Moab and Rubithon... sweet! I had nothing to do that weekend anyhow.

discuss.

Possibly. Maybe. Don't know.

It's really a function of how many people show up.

'Shoes in the Shade will be nice.

Looking for input on what people want besides Meat (moo cow or yardbird). Salads? Hot Dogs for the kids? Burgers in general? Pasta? (Opps, sorry pees)...

Ribs would be nice as a treat, but perhaps not a menu item due to size of group.

Lets face it Ross... tritip might bore you, but many of us only get to sample your talents once or twice a year. We're excited!

Green salad, yes.
Potato salad within reason, yes.
Macaroni salad... might still be a bad taste in some folks mouths. (bahahahaha)
Beans, yes.
beverages... yes yes

I can bring extra Weber kettles, have large one.

I can do some dessert if you want... typical tony cobbler stuff (Boring but I'll do it if you want)

I just hope I can put the whoopin on Yotaman in horse shoes... watch out, he is a sand bagger!

Tony -- Define "large" Weber... 22 1/2" or the Ranch (38 1/2")

I have 5 or 6 22's floating around...

Ribs could be fun... Cost prohibitive, but fun.

Menu is shaping up, and I already have an RSVP slip!

Fun Day Menu

Ribs and tri Tip a Great menu, Salad is great too, I can stomach a couple of bites of Macaroni Salad or some great potato Salad, I'll bring some Tequila, and mix some Poor Man's Margrita's, if any one's thirsty.

Smokey Joe (12?)
18 1/2 (small)
22 1/2 (normal)

Grillzilla=38

Bring the 22 if you have room.

Registrations are trickling in -- so far 20 confirmed.

Jeff Dirks included a check for $20, but I think that's his PMC Dues? I'll bring it to Moab for you Tony. Also, you might as well bring the PMC Check book to Moab. We'll get home about 2 weeks before Fun Day. Going Costco shopping on May 14th.

IF the crowd is small, I'll do up a few racks of ribs as well.

Ross,
Please consider this my RSVP, I will be coming all alone at this point.

Nobody wants to be my friend on that day, so they can not come have fun, they will miss out.

If you need any further coorespondance on this issue please let me know, and remember I am willing to help if need be.

normally I put in my rsvp early for Fun Day. However, I have a new job and I MAY have to travel to Lexington, KY that weekend. It's looking like I won't have to at this point, but it's already flip-flopped a few times, so I don't have a clue. If I'm not in Lexington, I'll be at Fun Day.

Woody - Head count from the Henry's is 10 +/- Beef please. Thanks for your efforts as always. Is the e-reply good or do you want the form sent in. (I guessing so as long your name and TLCA # are in your posting tag right?)

Oh and Michael you will have friends there at Funday. That's the cool part of a club, you get to meet friends, you don't have to provide them.

RSVP for Twiddy, party of two.

and I'll most likely forget the checkbook, but will try to remember. Perhaps I should just mail you one tomorrow...

also, will have nice shiney trinket for you at Moab... providing I don't forget that too.

I am bringing my horse shoes to Moab and Fun Day.

ill be coming let you know on the number next week

also have a gas vertical smoker that will fit 9 tri tips on if interested

and just a thought

were far enough out that we could organize the fun day olympics

rti ramp

cones on rocks

crawl race

pull off

all in fun or winners might get raffle tickets or something

crawl race i thought you could do similar to pinks to even thins out

like a dual case guy could race a stock but give different lead to even it out and give a chance to the stock guy

idle only last to cross wins or something to that effect

let me know what you guys think

or maybe even a 5 or 10 dollar buy in per event or 20 for the whole thing and divy up entry money for prizes
