Sheit! I know that boulder! It's just a dozen feet or so north of the Hunter Mountain turnoff. No worries!

I know that boulder too...... every time It rains little rocks and dirt wash out around It usually end up in the road, I kinda glance @ it when I drive by very quickly.
from what I remember looks like a 4.000 LBs rock.
The last report only Heeps can go around It

Mark,

The morning report shows the road is closed due to INYO county road work.
Hopefully they won't leave the heavy equipment blocking the road at the fallen boulder location, which is roughly at the Grapevine / Hunter Mountian junction

I will be coming in late Friday night / Sat morning around 1:00am

Call me if you have to turn around on Friday afternoon & I will post the condition
