I think some are staying in GP at a motel. I haven't heard of any campers as of yet. There is a cheap place downtown that was used last year, think it's like $55 a night a pretty clean.

I don't know when I'll be back in town from the redwoods, but worse comes to worse I'm on several acres 2 min. off of the freeway. If I'm not back yet long haulers are welcome to find a spot. If anyone is interested just shoot me a PM so I can get you directions and make arangements for water and facilities

For the new guys that want to try and make this run: This is a sanctioned run by the TLCA which means you have to be a TLCA member and also sign up for the run. The deadline has passed but if you really want in we might be able to get you in. See the McGrew run thread here: McGrew Trail Ride

I'm all good, thought I shot you an e-mail... PM'd with Jeff and he's got me down. I might not end up with a shirt this year, but that's cool. Maybe next year I won't be an exception Aside from Rubicon I haven't had a registration in on time yet  That is something that I shall have to remedy. I think I'll be good next year though,

I have a hard time with McGrew for some reason. I plan for the trip every year and am solid on that! If I could register for the following year I would never be late
On that note I haven't had any new success with raffle, but I do think next year we will have far more success. The contacts may not be the same, but at least we will have a starting point.

I wussed out of the obstacles two years ago, let's see what happens this year!

I have not received my "registration packet" and was looking for info to confirm the start time and stumbled upon this thread. I will be there in either my mini or 80 depending on whether my mini is back together. I feel the need to butt in with advice for the fng. Its great to be prepared and have a bunch of goodies bolted to your truck but keep them on the inside. Damage I have seen every year is stuff being scraped of the truck (racks and such that get grabbed by branches). For this trail I will remove my rack and unscrew my antennae. Airing down will definitely smooth things out a bit. One last thing is that those rangers will really check your truck closely like in crevices behind plastic fender liners, inside bumpers, unplugged cross members and its a lot easier to wash your truck at home.

Last call for those running Friday:
Dinner at Wild River in Grants Pass Thursday night at 7 just for fun.
Meeting at O'Brien store Friday morning at 9 and on the trail by 9:30.
Make sure your rig is washed and the fender wells are clean.
Caravan out of Grants Pass (my house) at 8 AM Friday to the O'Brien store if anyone wants to join.
Make sure to bring your swimming mask and sunblock!
