Made good progress tonight. I finally received all the parts that I had been waiting on (not yours Kief). Its all back together, new power steering, air pump, and some new hoses, and used but better then my old. The plan for tomorrow is to get it outside and flush the power steering pump and work out the air bubbles. Then I'll take it to work with me on Thursday and pressure wash the underneath of it so I can replace the oil pan gasket, and some output and pinon seals.

So far no baby, but that could all change. Getting closer. I will be bumper less at Mcgrew, because that is where I'm picking up my new one from Dirtgypsy.

Well I got the pan off, what a pain in the Ass. It took awhile to get the pan separated from the block. I had to take a box knife and cut into the gasket until I got one side done. After that I took my bottle jack and applied pressure to the bottom of the pan and pried the other side off. It was a very frustrating job, anytime I felt the need to start cussing and screaming I would just walk away for 10 to 15 minutes. Anyways it is off, time to start cleaning and removing the old gasket, it is coming off pretty easy. Getting closer to both Mcgrew and baby, well see how the rest of the weekend goes.

Well it all got put back together, well see if anything shows up in the next day or two. It went together pretty smooth. I really thought putting back together was going to be ruff. I read some pages in tech about seals not fitting right and what not. I guess I'll see if I got it right. Anyways I hope to get the rest finished before Mcgrew, if I don't I'll live.

I know it is after Mcgrew but I got permission from the wife to work on the rear bumper tomorrow. So I get to drill out frame rivets, not looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll walk away cussing and screaming a few times tomorrow.

no cussing or screaming. I drilled them all out and used my air chisel to finish the deal. Got the bumper mounted up, (about dropped it on my toes, not sure how it missed) I'm going to make some changes so its not up for good. I got to find some parts for the spindle. New bearings and races, I'm going to try Napa and see, I don't want to have to order a whole new spindle assembly just to replace some parts. Ordered a new latch tonight. Once this all gets fixed then off to get powder coated.

You did something wrong then.

I am not a fan of powder coating, myself.

One tiny break in the powder coat, and rust will spread underneath it. You will never be able to tell until it starts flaking off.

Just my two cents.
