June 6 or 7? Or May 30-31?
I have ordered parts from cdan, ouch! Is anyone available June 6 or 7 for a Birf party. The 7th would be preffered as Annie has a race on the 6th. I can miss the race if I pay up my hubby points prior...This time it is new birfs, rotors, calipers, pads, ect.
I'll order a rain free day this time.
Of course food and essential liquids provided!

I'll check with the Mrs, but I'm pretty sure I can head down and lend a hand. I'd think worse case I'll have to bring my monkeys. Unless she has something planned I don't remember being told about

Hey I'll sweeten the pot by raffling one of the old birfs for a trail spare. If you have an 80 it could come in handy...
Oh BTW, the fishing will suck that weekend!

I actually would come, but I already promised my buddy and his 3 year old son that we'd go.
Maybe next time.

The parts are in and the job will start Friday PM and go through Sunday depending on how much help I can muster.

Bif party
I'm in ,
I am sure I can fit in some worthwhile time between the 29th & the 31st.
I have some junk left over from the rebuild that we did on my rig.
PM me your address, I will bring the trailer stuff when I come.

That's great! Saturday will be the bulk of the work. I just checked the weather forecast and there is a slight chance of afternoon thunder showers. If that happens then I will finish up on Sunday.

Just finished for the day. Al was here for t he duration and was a great help! The new Birfs are in and buttoned up. The PS wheel bearings are history so I have to order new ones first thing Monday. Fubared one hub bolt so need a new one of those as well. Also fubared an axel seal and had to run to medford for a new one. I will be installing the new calipers tomorrow and button everything up ASAP next week.
The differential fluid had moly contamination so I am happy to have done the job now. When we installed the axle seals last time I dented one and I think we may have slightly over filled the knuckles. The combination of the two or one of the two was likely the problem.

Glad to hear you were able to get it done on Saturday. Sorry that I wasn't able to come down and help out. We had our first camping trip with Karly's sister and her fam. Went to a place called Green Peter Lake (yes green peter) out side of Albany. It was like one really big park....nice and grassy and flat everywhere. As far as improved camp grounds go it wasn't nearly as bad as I was afraid it would be. The side we camped at was rather quiet and such. The only reall bummer all weekend was having to keep Mickey on leash...okay enough rambling on your thread. If you still have work to be done this weekend let me know Karly works and my only comitment so far is watchin' monkeys

I need to have it together in the next couple of days. I called Wheeler and ordered the parts I need. I asked about a JSC/TLCA discount and they offered 10%. Parts will hopefully be in Tue am. I'll shoot up to get them as soon as Jamister1 delivers my Zeiss package tomorrow.
This weekend we will be camping up at Lake of the Woods. Annie has a race to run up there so we will make a weekend of it.
