Yep I can get over to ya today, or you can pick up.
dont need it today really, probably wont get to drive the toy before the club meeting.
i will hit you up before that.
my house is taking up mucho timeo.
Well for shnits and giggles I relocated my antenna today. I've had pretty much zero issues with it in the old location on the trail except being up ... way up ontop of my rack its just to tall!.
I debated the rear bumper, I debated an omni bracket for the rear hatch, a hood lip bracket.... Couldn't make up my mind. So cheap simple route I drilled a quick little hole in my front bumper and mounted. Its low, gets great tuning, we'll have to see about performance. I've read must of the 'mud forums CB setups and a lot of general research on the i-net. Debatable about this location.
Anyway no cost and out of the way from stuff I've been smashing it with latley. (way to SD it was sorta in the way and getting smacked, Yreka meeting I flat put it down, it hit everything)
imo the biggest thing with the antenna is having a relief spring and having the wiring where it wont get snagged by branches and things.
when mine was near the leading edge of the fender/hood it was always ripping the wires off.
