You're welcome to have a "meeting" on your requested date... But the official meeting will be on the 25th....
Note to self, think of Joel at the meeting... Hehe

I'll be your draft partner, my 55 puts a hole in the air that the space shuttle could fit in. You may have bigger tires but I'd bet mines taller!
I was thinking of hitting the old hwy going up MT Ashland so I could avoid I-5

You can do backroads the whole way. Take the old highway up and over the Siskiyous, hop on 5 for a mile and get off in Hilt, go down the hill and take Hilt rd. into Hornbrook, then you can either get back on 5 for a couple miles and exit at the rest area and cruise through the canyon into Yreka (96 to 263), or take Copco Rd to Ager rd and go into Montague and then hang a right and head into Yreka...
Make sure you pack some food in case you have any trouble...

I'm *almost* legal, they could only harass me about the tires sticking out too far but I do have fender flares so they like to see that I've made an attempt.
I had a cop follow me back for several miles from Evans Creek when my steering was broke a month ago and I was only doing 35mph and covered in mud but he never pulled me over. I like to think if they see you've made an even marginal effort to be legal they'll leave you alone.
When I had no mud flaps and 38's on my 4runner I got harassed all the time and they told me I had to have them front and rear but once I put some tiny rear ones on I never got bugged again. It's all about the effort.

Apparently everything our Prez has to say is so important that it needs to be stated twice.

thanks jarrod, i dont know what you said but saying it twice, it must be good.
as far as the harrassment thing i am mostly joking.
the only violations are vehicle codes which are all fix it anyway.
ironically i have only been stopped driving over a 33" tire one time.
when i was on 31s with shitty paint, i got stopped like 12 times in one year.

Wow, of all the things I've been stopped for (and deservingly so) I haven't had any trouble for the plate or multiple pits and cracked windshield...

Or they'll be more likely to pull you over because they figure you're not gonna come back down to contest the ticket.

its because when you get pulled over for no plate or windsheild chip, it was because the LEO didnt have enough real work to do at that time.

AND I am out for this meeting. 3 things on the schedule and I am knocking out 2 of them, the meeting not being the other one . I will have the paperwork done and have someone step up and read the boring part for me. I will see most of you in June if not sooner.

No worries G!
For those who are coming... The meeting will start at 11, and we will meet at the Miner St. Park in Yreka. Take exit 775 and turn west (Towards the Texaco) go straight through the stop light. Go 4 blocks and straight through the stop sign and the park is on your left. Park in the parking lot at the top end of the park.
Bring a lunch as we will be wheeling after the meeting! And if you have anything you'd like to donate to the raffle, bring it along!

Hay!
I met some of 'yall at '45 run and some at McGrew the past few years so seein' as my Cruiser is parked in the northern extreme of Jeff St. I signed up and hope to be along on the 25th. Let me know time and place but I'm scheduling in that Sat. Also, who are the other north extreme folks as that might come in handy knowing who might be passing me on I-5. Also if we go to meetings on the south end of things, "what goes down must come up" right? If anyone needs to get me my email is cougardave57@gmail.com because I don't get don't get on ih8mud as much as I would like. I don't even have any fancy pictures on here. Looking forward to 'weelin with everyone.
