McGrew pre run
It was so much fun last year.....
Also, if we're going to be playing an active role in this years Trail Ride, it would probably be a good idea to get out there and do some planning for the event.
My thought was that 3 weeks before seemed good, but that'd be the 4th of July.... so we'll put it to a vote..... (this should go well...)
You can vote for any/all dates that work for you, if there's enough interest, we may make it an overnight trip....

June 20-21 is OUT. That is Father's Day weekend when the Jeepers run it and it is crowded.
June 27th is good. I would like it spaced out from the TLCA McGrew run a bit.

I'm turning 30 on the 13th so I'm planning on having my midlife crisis between the 11th-18th. Although I really don't have any plans in particular I'm just planning for the worst.

I think the 27th (current winner) seems like a good date, plus we can check up on what the Jeepers leave behind, if anything....
Edit, Jesse, you should just go nuts and buy lots of parts for my truck..... Specifically MC Hi-steer..... That'd be a good mid life crisis!

I think at one time they had well over 100 and then a whole bunch of campers that took the main road in, one guy drove the quad cab ford with a long bed towing a trailer for the quads that the kids were riding..... nuts-absolutely nuts. Oh, and don't forget the Cave Junction contingent. It was more like a parade out in a once quiet and peaceful place.. I think if I do go out there during that run it will be on my dual-sport.

Speaking of, uh...do we need a new event calender? Or a more well defined sticky...or somethin' so that we can view events without the added discussion about the events? ...not to cause waves but our original event calender has been overwhelmed and has quite a bit of chit chat...

So plans have changed (rats!) and I'll be able to attend.
Try and hold your disappointment in.
Anyone going out Friday? I will need to leave Sunday to head up to Bend.

Do believe we are running the trail on Saturday, some might go down and camp then come back to run it but not sure.

We going to do the whole thing, or just the second half?

I figured we were running the whole thing to make sure there wasn't any trash left over from the j**pers run the previous weekend. I thought we were camping over Saturday night.
Not to try and change the plans or anything but we could run down Friday and then run the whole trail backwards and be out on Saturday. I could probably go either way.
