Hopefully both of you can make the October meeting as the website will be a major discussion point.

You could also argue that there are people with 640x480 resolutions (about the size of a postage stamp compared to what I normally use). 800x600 was the old standard, but anymore many people are designing sites for 1024x768.

As standards go up, those who don't (or can't) adopt at least the minimums get left behind. Sorry Kief.
I think 1024x768 is the standard these days.
If Kief needs a bigger monitor and doesn't mind a CRT monitor (not the completely flat ones). I'll find him a 17" or 19" one for free. It'll probably only take me a week.

I would love to get together with you some time and go over this stuff. Let me know when you have some time and we'll try to get together.

Thanks Dick, my problem is I don't want to spend $500 bucks to step up to broadband(vs. dial up) and the $50 bucks a month to keep it up. I could try a different ISP but I am cheap, more $$$ left for life. One income, three kids and too many things to spend $$ on.

Kief
check on DSL with your phone company
and internet cable if you have cable TV
it doesn't cost as much as you think

Kief lives out in the middle of no where. DSL is a no go, as is I believe cable.

Spendy unfortunately.

Dunno what the cell service is like there, but I know if he has good Sprint service there are ways of using your phone as a dial up modem, much faster than regular dial-up. (And with Sprint's new plans fairly cheap too as it's all inclusive.)

AT&T and Verizon are both quite expensive for data.

You can now download the JSC Application and fill it out and email it in. I was unable to do it with a PDF , so I used a Word Document and created edit fields and protected everything else.

Kief not only that Sprints SERO plans are cheap (just pray to God you don't have to call customer support )

Go to this link, it is just on the bottom of the main page labeled as
JSC Aplication (DOC)
I had to copy and paste the document into my current version of Word because it was made with Word 07 or something like that and the application was locked from editing otherwise.

That's the app. I thought he was talking about the fliers we could put on windshields that Tim was working on. Now that we have our logo we should be handing these things out!

Thanks Tim, that should work. Upgraded shot wouldn't be bad with a bunch of rigs lined up for a photo op.

We will need to sticky this or get it on the website for our members to use.

Well I'm not going to argue with that but our photographer (whoever that is??) hasn't taken pictures of everyone in front of their rigs and spliced them into a cool wheeling background for us : (

BTW first "official" flyer was handed out last tuesday to a 4runner owner (Jerod should be happy).

EDIT
For the moment I've added the link to the flyer to my second post (links post) on the first page just below the pictures.

Ah HA! Good call T, you're the winner!

And who authorized the usage of the picture on this flyer?

http://jeffersonstatecruisers.com/jscflyer.pdf

I'm pretty sure there was a slightly better one taken there......

The person that made the flyer authorized it. I'd love to see you bring it up with him

Besides Jerod it looks like it got your good side
