Hmm, I'd be interested in them...
You should sell them though. They are worth quite a bit of $$$. Seriously, it's something like $2-3k to get a new pair (that's new new, not used).

The leather ones usually go for about $200 - $300 a set if they are in good shape. I had to have them when I bought my 80 but now they are in the garage along with the rear seatbelts.

The model I bought: 2526
The model needed: 2533

My bad for not verifying the model number, but those style chains from Schwab are the exact ones I am running! Those are what Kief should be running on his 60 along with the loaner ladder set I have for him. Sorry Retro I didn't pay close enough attention to the detials, still a great price and you should be able to recoup that money easy.

D'oh!
Well as G said, you should be able to recoup easily. At least you didn't go out and spend twice that price on the crappy steel chains.....
Maybe Keif or someone else would take them off your hands. (Hmm, actually if they fit a 31" tire I might for the truck....)

LOL Its all good. It was a great price for them, I have no concerns on re-couping. Bummer didnt fit mine, but that is all my fault. They are a nice chain.

Should fit a 31" no problem if you want to try. They were pretty close on my 285/75/16.
Anywho see the link above for fit, if anyone is interested. $50 or like toys to for my 80 if trade is better

I saw that ad but have way too many chains to justify a "good" set. I at least need to do an inventory of what I have and what size they fit.. JMK is ON IT!

Yep. I'll bring'm. Maybe someone with your tire size will be there to verify fit as save some hassle. All the same great chain, I throughly enjoyed using Garrett's in the snow. If they dont work looks like plenty of locals are interested LOL, we'll just pass them around

Specter Off-Road-Land Cruiser Parts - Page 801-Clearance Items
help me out guys, will a 60/62 ARB fit my 80? price is right ($350) and I sure think I need one you guys with fab skills will say yes immediately, but I have little skills in metal fab and my garage is mostly in storage so I'll need a hand if I pull the trigger.
somebody convince me to keep looking, I can't really afford it and I'm sure another aluminum one will pop up for a song.......yeah, right.
there's some big tube bumpers further down the page for twice much if anyone is looking,

Think width... I am sure a 60 series bumper would be too narrow. If you really want I'll go out and measure mine.

Yup, you'd have to do some fab work.
Probably just as easy to do your own from scratch...

That bumper took a massive hit at one time. Look at the passenger side upright and the hook mount right underneath it. Knowing ARB that's some pretty thick metal and those two points are mangled to the point you wouldn't be able to straighten them without cutting them off first. I'd be curious to see what the back side of that bumper looks like it'd be surprising if everything else was straight.
It's a good deal but shipping would be a couple hundred and then you'd still have to redo the mounts, fix the damage, and odds are it still wouldn't fit that well. Pass on it and make your own or wait until something you really want comes up.

thanks guys, that was what I needed to hear. I am curious on the width of the 60 series bumper if Keif wouldn't mind, just for future reference.
pulled my flares last night if anyone is looking for a set; they're white with black arma-lining, lower tab on the D side back door is cracked but could be fixed pretty easy
