Zeiss binos
I have for your consideration two pairs of Zeiss Binos for sell.
First are 8x30 Diafuns. These are very light weight binos that are great for hunting. The glass is outstanding. The barrels show wear from carrying while hunting. Optics are excellent. These are @ $400 new. $225.
Lastly are 8x20B* "Opera glasses." Thes are as compact as you will find. The quality is way beyond the current production stuff. My father bought these new to watch USC football games. They have been in the family for almost 30 years and are still going strong. $225
I'll post these here for local buyers for a couple of days then it is off to the outer world...

Don't know if something is wrong with it (considering it's Northgate....probably....), but the price seems to be about right.
Doesn't LOOK like it has the magic dial.

looks like there is another dark cruiser through the window and I think Northgate has a white one too (if that's the lot across from the mall).. Dealers scare me, period.

They do have another that they're asking around $10k for. ($9k? Something like that.)
Unless it's in pristine condition the price is way too high, and Northgate rarely has anything that pristine.
$6k would be fair if the condition was decent, but as I said I would suspect something wrong. I certainly would have it looked over 10 ways from Sunday.
I've had dealings with several dealerships, and some are better than others. Northgate isn't on my "better" list.....

YOK geolanders
picked these up to save my BFG's and maybe a bit of mpg, but quickly realized the futility and frustration of road tires (sorta) and aftermarket rims (ugly) when the MPG is the same, and I am not feeling the whole vibe. Not those kind of vibes; fresh balance at americas's tire- can't dig the look mostly.
7-8/32nds, were on a Sequoia, 265/75/16
paid $350 last weekend, would like to get that back. can deliver if it makes a difference, will post on CL if no response here over the weekend.

I was splashing thru puddles over the weekend, they were fairly dirty when I picked them up and I have not bothered to clean them.......maybe tonight for "glamor shots"
Did not come with center caps, and I doubt any would fit unless they were installed on a rig without FF rear and hubs. 2WD chevy?

test drove the white one. very clean, strong runner, very touchy brake's, obd2 and no dial. front and rear brush, 101k, cloth seats, and smells like cig smoke.
looked at green one a 92 with 240k, they wanted 4k with bad tires. i told them to go themselves, but someone bought it cause its gone.
LX450 96 strong runner, obd2, fair/good leather interior. no dial, 138k BFG AT's, and crossdrilled and slotted front rotors, paint is all scratched up hence the price. but since i know how to do paint i drove it home

i want to
but
the trail rig is still apart
the troopy is still not registered
the drivable 45 is not really capable
the diesel might make it
but the real reason is :-(
i got bored and stupid in retirement and bought a damned 7 days a week antique store :-(

Is this an 80 with diff locks for $2700? I'm assuming diff lock is the same thing as the axle lockers on these things??

Nope, no fr/rr locker option on the 92 IIRC. They did come stock I believe with the center diff lock and CDL switch (this is button we typically setal from those year to the 93-94 yrs).

Many of the 91/92 80's came factory with a center diff lock switch.
HAH! I've seen this truck! It is *THRASHED* interior wise. The front springs and/or shocks seem to be shot, it has major stinkbug (and not in the good way). I think it's too bad to be just shocks tho IMHO. Unless they did work to it, the front axles are...well....I'd plan on buying new birf's if I were going to try and drive it.
It's been sitting for months. Used to have a $3,500 price on it, now just says "must sell, make offer!" I didn't notice a phone number or anything so I'm not sure how they were planning on selling it.
I would offer them $500 and part it out. I would not offer a dime more.

i also checked it out months ago. and its got a lot of problems. and some wierd exhaust cut out/patch job. door panels are toast. it really is only worth parting out. and i want the rear lift gate!
and it is open f/r diff's. f/r locking diffs where not an option till 93. however on 91 and 92 the cdl switch was a standard option.

If all you want is a tire for a spare, I'd hit up some of the local places and see if they have any used ones that they pulled off someone's truck.
Talk to Jeff or Jerri (gal) at Expert Tire. Jeff knows Steve, and Jerri probably knows me since just dropped about $500 there....
You can also talk to the guys Garett knows where he got his BFG's, he got his spare as a freebie.
I personally prefer a new spare. With a well used one I'd be worried about it busting on me before I got off the trail (glad Garett didn't tell me his was a freebie until after we got off the trail, I had enough to worry about!). Plus with a new one you can add it to your tire rotation and add some extra life to your tires.
Or if you hang it off the back you can keep it pristine and pretty. Kinda a before and after approach.
