Ty could probably sell his non-locked axles for $1500 to $2000.
They're popular with the mini-truck guys.
Cheaper than ARB, but a heck of a lot more work.
One guy on the 80's forum sold his locked axles and bought Volvo portal axles. Broke pretty even on the deal $$$ wise.

i guess, i have seen and could bought two fronts for 400$a piece.
the offset rear is a boat anchor to a mini guy.
the 9.5 diff is definately making me want some LC parts on the mini
i want to build a front with a 9.5 diff and 80 series outers

Why is that?
You have to deal with an offset front anyway, so I wouldn't imagine that it's being offset that's the problem.
And not to mention that it's going to be a heck of a lot harder to break an 80 diff than it would be to break a mini or (a smaller) dana.

mini is centered rear. centered rear output. the fuel tank is in the way if you were to run a sideways driveline.
no arguments on the strength, at least for the 9.5"
you could fully use one in a custom housing.

I would not pay good money for a set of open 80 axles... In fact I've only heard of one swap into a mini in all the reading I've done... Most guys go domestic full width...
Now, if someone wanted to give me a hi pinion e-locker.... well I'd toss that in my front end in a heart beat! ...

Nothing Car related, but.. Camera Lens
Picked up a little better lens for telephoto stuff, so old one is of no need. Works 100%. Its clean and been well taken care of. Fits 35mm film and most Canon DLSR's.
Canon Zoom Lens EF 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 III USM
Will fit any Canon EF system (Red Dot, and Red/White Dot on newer digis) It is non-IS.
$100 OBO.

FREE Washer and Dryer... and they even work
Up for free is a Sears brand washer and dryer pair and they are 10+ years old. Both still work. A JSC member was kind enough to give me his old set and I will give mine for free to you or someone you know in need, the only catch is I want them gone soon!
PM me and shoot me your number. Hitting the CL soon.

Just throwing it out there, but does any have a 58" yakima bar sitting around
Been keeping an eye out on CL and fleebay, nothing so far (or at least nothing but full sets)
A 48" may do the trick.

i have a little adapter i made to add a subwoofer to the back of the FJC.
it plugs into the factory sub harness and allows use of whatever amp and sub you want to use.
this is fully custom and not even available aftermarket as far as i know.

$275 without the brush guard.

he'll go $275 without the damage multiplier, is this a good winch for an '80? 5K rating sounds low but what do I know...

5K is a bit on the low side, but it'd work. There's at least 1 person who runs a 3k mini winch on the rear. It's not going to pull you out if you're stuck and can't help it, but you could still use it to help you up and over stuff, you'll just need to provide some of the pull with the truck, rather than relying on the winch alone.
Lots of people run 6k winches. I'd probably pick it up if I had the cash, though I'd try to bring the price down a bit (maybe $250).

My 10k was completely stopped when I was stuck in the snow and my 55 weighs less than most 80's, 5k is useless.

All depends on the stuck. I buried a 40 I had once and had my 8K hooked to a truck and the trucks 8K to me both winching and nothing. Had to get another truck chained to him and pull as well.
But for what you are asking I would say the 5K is too low for an 80, you could probably get by with it on a 40. If you want it just for the rear then maybe, just be sure to use a snatch block for more pull.
