Somedays you just have to shrug your shoulders
If I could only convince the that we could use better camping stuff, rather than the dog (Wool jackets, nicer tent than we have, etc).... but I guess this complete our dogs camping gear... maybe.. LOL!
This is what I came home to....

I think one might ponder, "Is that really a dog?"
I guess this means you get to go camping?

I'm running the 300 now and will have the 24K West Topo soon. I wonder how well the camera works, would be nice since I take a pic at every geocache we hit. Probably more geared towads geotagging which is cool.

Ya I wonder about camera function. If it was half way decent it would be pretty sweet for simple image with a geo tag. I have all ways been against camera phones do to quality etc, plus I have a decent array of cameras. However I find even my cam phone very useful at times.

From what I've heard the prices aren't good yet.
Give it a month or two, and then the prices should really drop.

Ya ya, I know, doubt it will even go that far, guess they are going to just load it all up and liquidate it soon. 10% is still 10%.

Got word that the Garmin 500 will be a 3MP camera built in. Not that impressive but if you want real pics use a real camera I guess.

Sure.
Regular price * 150% markup * 10% "sale"
(Sucker! )
For example, Powerbait is a good 50 cents to a dollar higher than Blackbird. Considering how cheap that normally is.....

Oil change M1
This is total but thought I'd share. I have a trip coming up and needed an oil change. With limited time lately I opt'd to just drop it off and have someone else do it while I was at work.
John's Auto (by MFR airport) has taken care of several of friends and mines BMW's and has done a good job. Nice guys, etc.
So anyway break down the cost it was $85. 8qrts 0/40 M1 Syn, Filter and top/check fluids.
He is working on a full Mobile1 express service/drive thru.
Really not that interesting, but thought I would try the m1 stuff out.

Hey Tyler,
I really liked that Walther .22 you had down at Yreka. What model exactly was it? And if I got one, where would I source that laser you had on it?
Thanks for any info,
Curtis

the model the is the Walther P22. Comes in quite a few variations of color. The solid black like mine you can find and almost any gun shop in the valley. I bought mine from black bird. And the last place I saw one was Good Guy Guns, as well as Sportsmans Warehouse, and a used at the gun shop out on hwy 62, before the 140 turnoff I believe (small little gun shop).
Found them from $230-399.
The laser came from a P22 replica CO2 pellet gun. It came as a kit (gun, scope, laser, flashlight). I think i bought it at blackbird, but been some time so not sure. The pellet p22 is at my inlaws farm house. Next time I swing out there I can get more details.
