Wrench and a BBQ
So last Saturday the and I (mostly) finished our patio, which has been a year long project.
Anyway, she wants to show it off, so why not use it as an excuse for a BBQ while the weather is still nice, and maybe we can do a bit of wrenching here and there. Probably not a birf party (as that tends to be more of an all day thing) but quick PM here and there type scenario. Like maybe Steve's starters.
We're looking at Weds the 30th, eveningish. I believe that Travis and his are in (pending confirmation).
Anyone else want to head on over?
When:
Wrenching (what little is planned on being done) starts about 2ish.
I'll start firing up the BBQ about 6ish (hopefully giving the slackers enough time to make it).
Attending:
Gabe +
Travis + + 2 thugs (they will "cut" you)
Steve + + mini-me twins
Secretagent
jamister1
Garrett (late) + + 2 kids
Jerod (late) +
Food:
Gabe: Beef (burgers), hot dogs, baked beans, ice
Steve: Onions & Avocados
Jerod: Chips and dips
Garrett: (Dessert, tenitive)
Travis: Twice baked potatoes
B.Y.O.B.
Wrenching:
Gabe: Finish belly skid plate armor, possible body lift (if it's here in time...).
Steve: Rebuild a starter.
Other misc PM and projects if you bring them.
Directions:
Assuming you are coming from I-5 and have turned west towards C.P.....
Turn right at the first stop light. (Street: 10th Landmark: McDonalds)
Turn left at the third street. (Street: Maple Landmark: Assembly of God Church)
Second house (913 Maple St) on the right, white(ish) with green trim.
Best parking area is in front of the house (or across, on Maple St), but there is additional parking on the side (on 10th St).

Wednesday's are tough for me, busiest day for my job and I play softball those nights. I will see what I can do though.
Family BBQ or just the wrenchers like at Steve's?

We can always uninvite them.
(My wife would kill me if I made her hang out with just "the guys".)

Families include mini me's to. right?
I have the starters and kits and will be happy to get them done. I will have to pull the one out of the truck on site but that is easy.

Where in Medford are you? I want to go! For something to work on I guess I can throw the engine in the back of my Ford and bring it over.

913 Maple St, in Central Point.
I'm not sure rebuilding an engine is something we have time for.....
Travis and I will be finishing my belly armor (mounts and holes in it). Steve is rebuilding his starter. Not sure how much else we want to try and cram in.

Can we say eat at 6? Rachael won't be home till 5, then we'll cruise on up. Also, we'll bring some chips and dips.

Nope, we're eating at 5:39 and you can just eat left overs.
I'll put you down for chips and dips.
Oh, and some salsa/sauce for the chips too.

Updated first post with directions, head count, etc. Looks like we're going to have a fair amount of people show up.
We could still use:
Couple of side dishes
A dessert or two (or nine)
Drinks (the non-alcoholic version, though if you want to BYOB that's cool too)

For some reason that didn't work . . . we need a girl in our club to explain them for us, lol.
Sounds like it'll be a lot of fun!
