TLCA McGrew Run...
How many are attending the official event?
Me, Travis and Jerod are going that I know of.
Looks like Travis and I will be heading the informal Friday run in on the trail to Sourdough. Gives us all day Saturday to hang out and sample micro brews
Come on out, as Jerod would say "You know you want to!"

I'll be nearby (hanging at Lake Selmac) but I'm out, unfortunatly.
Unless I can talk the folks we're going with into wheeling.

I will be there one way or another.... I may end up riding with Tony, as my truck needs some major loving to get it ready, and I don't think I have the time...
Travis, you are not on the list that Tony posted, you may want to sent him a PM...

I am out. The wedding on Saturday and cost of sitters for Friday killed the deal for me.

No sat. run, eh? too bad. look forward to seeing you'all in camp then.
talk about the new club.
p.s. you guys like to shoot oysters off the 1/2 shell?
I have a buddy/neighbor that grows the little devils in Humboldt Bay. I believe he recomends the Kumomoto's.
Was going to bring a bunch to Oysterfest but was out of town till Friday and couldn't make it.
Though I don't think I could haul enough for the entire group. Might be better for a smaller club or group run.

Russ, I say bring em! probably will be a much smaller group than last year, and some people may not like them... Just make sure you keep them cold! If there's any left over I'll help get rid of them! See you in a few weeks!

Good to hear from you Russ. Looks like we will be heading in Friday, but not confirmed yet, probably have to make the call at the last minute. Oysters on the half shell, just had my first one in Chicago last week...I think it's an acquired....texture...more than taste. But what do I know, I'm a rookie at them!
See you Saturday either way Russ

What time are the oysters being served? Maybe I can drive out and back during the wedding and no one will notice....

I'd drive out and back if it wouldn't take me a couple of hours (round trip).

They're not bannanas so they may not taste the same on the way back up.
Sounds like there are those that would partake in the ingestion of the little bivalve beasties if they appeared. I will do my best to bring a bunch. Bring your own sauce, toppings or brownies(hehehe, Garett).
Looking forward to the smaller group.

You should take it anyway, so that you can say that 3 events in a row you took it there, and it broke down at the location.
Also, I sleep with a teddy....

You know, as a moderator, I can edit your posts... to make you say whatever I want... See above....
Also, I think it's funny that your president hasn't completed one club gathering in his own truck.... I'm going to shot for driving it to the 45 Run.... We'll see how that goes.....

He should at least bring his keys and maybe break an emblem off and stick it on the keychain.
