Local 4x4 trails

Looking for good ventura county off roading areas. I live in Valencia and I'd like to do daily or overnight short trips. Any local suggestions for good camping or off roading would be much appreciated.

well, you gots the BC109 trail, the Lockwood Valley, Hungry Valley(gorman SVRA area) all within an hours drive.

Up a ways you can hit the Carrizo Plain, go camp out at Jalama Beach and hit up SB county. There's also the Bear camp and the "old Road" right there above Valencia of of the 5. Also Rowler flat has some cool trails to go get dirty on and not have to pack much.

Most of these are monthly runs that the club will hit in the time of a year...just post up when you are going, someone almost always comes up with an excuse to ditch work for Danny's Taco's after a run.

Thanks for the input. i'll have to do a little research and hit them up. I'll post up if I do so we can get more rigs together.
