I just reserved a spot a south beach, i think...the woman on the phone talked me into circles and I'm not sure she understood where I wanted to stay. Prices went up too...anyone else get locked in at $25 a night?

LOL

Things change and I am taking my FJ Cruiser. Speed limit 85 mph. All I do at SnT anyway is drive on the hard pack, talk to people, drive out to the check point, talk to people, drive back to hrd pack watch people jump and bust axle. No need for my 40 this year.

That was totally cool. IF he had lockers in all three axles, he would have coasted up that.

The scene cracks me up every time I see it. That net is only about 6 feet high if Tom Cruise can spike it.

Weather changed last night.

Crazy Heavy fog came in around 7:00pm. Difficult to see the street lights, etc. Fog is heavy enough that you have to use the windshield wipers while driving. I imagaine it is worse on the beach.

Plan for a wet camping trip.

My Sienna made it all the way in on Saturday evening. I aired down to 20 PSI at the washed-out sign and drove right up next to Woody's trailer.

No problem getting out around 10:30, the tide was coming in, but we only got within a foot of wetting the tires once.

There's a few pics here: Picasa Web Albums - Donal - SNT 2009
