Looks good Hudy is the hitch (ball) going to stay?
Installed a proportioning valve for the brakes (4 wheel disc system), built a skid plate finally and also some body work, once the sliders/steps were on it left some holes in the front fenders and we can't have that.

so today i was busy bee. i finally put on my tube doors and new hinges. took the top off the 4runner and even fix my cat problem. i took it to quality muffle and they cut it off to see what was wrong and it was all melted and broken inside. so they turned around and let me go home and gut it all out and bring it back and weld it back on for me for FREE. now my truck runs great! no more boging down.

Speaking of CBs . . . Everyopne should tune thier CBs before the trip. Nothing like someone trying to talk on an untuned rig and not be able to project or hear very well. I have an SWR tuner. IF anyone wants to use it or stop by to use it, let me know.

I cut my 2wd frame in half to make a trailor out of it. As I dont have a welder, I am in need of help getting this thing welded up. I am willing to pay for labor. Please let me know.

Onboard air and rear air locker is all plumbed and working great. Got the CB working great and a down pipe welded on the muffler. It is amazing how quiet it is now. Changed out the temperatur sensor, hopefully this fixes the backfiring problem. Just need to put on the fj80 master cylinder and pack up all my gear for calico

been busy
installed the Optima I won off ebay (awsome battery), then installed the timing chain kit from LC Engineering. It turns out the engine I put in my truck is from 82-85 (as per the markings and the tech at LC Engineering), so I had to send the timing chain kit back and have a different kit sent out. The chain is longer on the correct kit, and to top it off, LC engineering sent me a Dual row Timing Chain kit for the same price as the single row! Installed it and it runs great, other than a very high idle. Need to get it back down!

Re-Adjust your timing and check for vacuum leaks. Something may not have been connected correctly.
No wonder the day and 1/2 we spent on figuring out the smog and wireing did not make sense since it is a different engine.

Talon thats one of those fun ones/pita......Did they backout easily or test your patience and english vocabulary?
Replace the broken door handle, some minor touch up (paint) and installed the new driveline ( high angle mucho $$$$$, (nice function but for the price I think the craftsmanship should have been better). And gave it a wash.

They could have been worse, I went and got some extractors as i have none then realized I have no power tools here. So I went at it with a hammer and screw driver, slow but worked well.

Derek came out and welded up a hole in his bed and then tried his truck on the ramp.
I don't know what the hole did or didn't do but it is flexing alot better.
