Central Valley Crawlers Classifieds Section: Post items for sale here

I was thinking it might be a good idea to have a sticky for a classified section for our club since our threads sometimes turn into them or items are requested on other threads.

I'll start with what I have, ALL OBO OR TRADES WELCOME:
1) It is a Standard 4 Wheel Parts Rock Crawler Series 51 Black Powder Wheel / 16x8, 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern / Backspace 4 1/2in (actually reads 4 3/8). It has never been mounted but has garage trail scars.

What do you have to trade? Any and all junk, spares, things, anything that you want to clear some space for to fill the void with a wheel is a good trade offer.

2) Equus Tachometer: Pro Tach; Black; 8000 RPM; 2-.50"

Part Number: 6086 from partsamerica.com or Kragen Auto. Brand new, only installed in the bug I was working on to set up timing. 40 bucks new, will sell for $20. Works for 4,6,and 8 cylinders.

3) North Face backpacker tent. I have an older North face backpacker, 2 perswon 3.5 season tent for sale. It is similiar to their spectrum 23 tent (www.thenorthface.com) My tent is blueish and grey. No tears, rips, or issues. works great and everything in working order. this is about 8 years old, but in great condition. Very water proof, can hold up to 2+ feet of snow on top of it (ask me how I know) and keeps you very warm and dry in everythign but Sherpa weather. $100.00 OBA (This is a steal of a price and only for club members). I will post this on sleezbay and the general section on mud next week for 180.00.

What a GREAT IDEA for this type of sticky. CVCBay
Now I've got to go inventory all my stuff now that camping was brought into the fray, and I know I've got one or two tents, and one brand new coleman propane (bottle) stove. NIB. Now if someone can show/teach me how to use my ditg camera, and transfer those pictures to the computer to post up here, as I'm still learning.

Thanks for pulling the jack handle for me. On the list I need a drivers seat if the recliner works on it, I need the back peice of trim on the drivers side vent window...the verticle one, and the rear window motor if it's working. Will probably need a steering column soon too...but not quite ready to try and replace that.

let me know what you have available and we can go from there.

I have some sheets of Fiberglass insulation someone could use to insulate their rig more. Free to whomever wants it. They are about an inch thick.

Wtb ammo cans

WTB: I am looking for medium to large AMMO cans to buy. I saw a tread on the trailer section that turned them with the door facing out and used them for the top of a trailer's fenders. Something that is about 12" -15" tall (with the door on top) would be good. I need two of them at least.

Let me know.

I Have a complete 1983 FJ60 that I am parting out. The engib=ne runs and it has a 4sp and split case. The split case would be a great upgrade for a fj40. Let me know if you want any parts.

I went to the Monday flea market in Hanford yesterday and picked up 3 30 cal. boxes. If I get one more, I can use two on top of each fender. They were 5 bucks a piece and the guy I got them from sells them all over the place and at gun shows. He gave me his card if anyone is interested. He has hundreds of them all different sizes. I am going to stop by his place some time this week to see what he has. He is between Lemoore and Hanford on Lacy.

AMMO BOXES check out Cheaper Than Dirt . com They have 30 cal, 50 cal, and larger stuff like cans that hold old russan RPG ammo in metal and plastic. There is another company, the name escapes me right now, but the guys name is Gary Olds---something, and he deals in military surplus from the US and lots of other countries, eastern bloc stuff. I'll have to find a catalog the next time I'm on the throne, and will put it up for youes guys.

It's called The Sportsmans Guide. 1-800-xxx-30-06. Good prices on most stuff. I bought a pair of
Steiner Binos that were reconditioned for approx 125.00 and they retailed for over 400.00 Lots of other stuff like folding shovels, and east german pick axes, etc. Most stuff is in new or like new condition. I have spent way too much w/this catalog in the last 10 yrs, and the wife dose'nt know but about 1/32 of it. Hope this helps you Slicrock

I have a set of 4 new in the box DOETSCH hydro 8000 shocks. I had them for my Jeep that I used to have. I had a set on my Jeep and they road very well. When they are expanded all the way out they messure 24 inches from right under the bushings. I am wanting 100 bucks for them. They retail for $50 each so let me know if your interested and I can give you my address for pick up.

These are universal shocks. I had done a spring over on my 64 cj5 and they sent me 2 sets of shocks. I would of felt bad that they sent me extra parts but I paid a arm and a leg for there lift that I had to modify every part. so they are 24 inches right below the eye rings. they should fit you you want to see them let me know. The other set was on my jeep and it road very nice. It had a 6 to 7 inch lift on it but the shock mounts were on top of the spring pack.
