Trip Report: Buck Rock
Had a good time
We had a total of 8 rigs 5 club members Brent,Chad,Dennis,Jimmie and myself and 3 guests Ed, Kyle and sorry I forgot the other guys name. Total of 13 people and 2 dogs We left the Shell Station about 8:15 Chad had a shock come off at Quail Flat so he had to reattach it. Ran the trail no problems Jimmie and Kyle made it up both hills Jimmie does a great job in his rig ( or should I say Greg) We had a nice lunch near the end of the trail the mountains were nice with a cool breeze. After lunch Chad and Ed went out the end of the trail to Big Meadows the rest of us ran the trail back to the Buck Rock lookout were most everyone went to the top to check it out. Hey guys. Thanks for the good day. After everyone left I went back down the trail and I sheered my rear pinion gear. I had to limp home with only front-wheel drive. I guess it is a perfect time to install a locker. Kyle

Yikes! Sorry to hear that but glad you made it home okay. This will be small consolation, but here's a nice picture of you and Zephyr coming up the hill with (I think) Dennis behind you. I have another one of you getting pretty squirrely coming up that same hill; if you want the full res images just let me know and I'll shoot them over.
