What parts are people looking for?

I got to thinking that most of out here have got boxes of cruiser bits in boxes...

While others are looking for parts.

What parts are people looking for?

I have an auxillary tank to install and would love to get hold of the gas dor and the sheet metal to go around it.

Also Inner and outter Rockers that could be rebuilt.

Maybe even a better hood that hasn't been dented up if some has one cheap.

I know, I know, champagne tastes on a beer budget. I have somewhat of a cashflow problem...

Have many parts and sweat equity to trade though (and some cash) .

I've got a 1F clutch/Flywheel just machined, and a couple of windsheild surrounds don't know if I will be needing them anymore depending on whats on this parts rig.... also I have a parts rig.

We'll have to talk... I'd put your $100 towards transporting your parts truck home if you can. Western regional rentals used to rent car trailers for $60 for a day or something like that.

If needed I have a Tow vehicle rated for a 7300 lb trailer. (trailer + 4700lb fj40)

That sounds handy, I have permission to keep it were it is and part it out for up to 1 month... so thats good news basicly I intend to strip the tub, windshield, fenders and anything else that I can grab easily and the rest can go to the junk yard... maybe you could help me out with your trailer in exchange for one of my hoods or something like that? (to cart the leftovers to the junk yard) Or perhaps you need/want something else?

Stephen

I don't currently have a trailer... just an suv rated to pull one. You'd have to either rent one or ??

Western Regional Rentals is likely your best bet.

I've got a "hot wrench" if one's needed.

Let me know.

Is there electricity where the truck is?

my ever changing list...

One caliper ( forget which side, but doesn't really matter, unless it's a good one, as I'll probably be returning it for core) so junk is fine.

C-clip that goes on the end of the birf inside the locking hub. ( seem to have put mine somewhere safe.)

Bit of lathe work....I need my FF hubs turned a smidge so the brake rotors will fit on the backs. should only take a few minutes.

Lastly, I'll trade someone my large pattern knuckle for a small pattern one. ( again, not sure which side I have at the moment)

I'm hacking up a pair for RDB brackets, and I'd rather cut up small pattern knuckles than waste a big one.

So if you're looking to upgrade, ( big pattern knuckles are easier to get high steer for.) get it quick before I buy another box of zipcuts and start chopping...

cheers,
ryan

I need 7 wheel studs for the front of a 60 series, the kind that go through the rotor and hub.

Have:
I have the glass for a rear hatch, but no frame.
3-speed tranny/t-case - internal condition unknown
Various kick vents,

Need:
Looking for a working or non-working wiper motor for a 75-78 FJ40. My electrics are good, but the castings for the motor mounting plates are busted.
I know they're hard to find, but my windshield frame has had the biscuit - I think the glass is all that's keeping it together.

I have a few windshield frames.... mostly no glass but I heard a rumour that the glass smith in victoria would have a piece installed for 100 bucks if you had a seal. I also have a couple of windshield wiper motors some alive some dead. I will be back in september if you still need the stuff then let me know

I'm also interested in getting new amby style doors if they're in decent shape... I have one set that is relative crap but there are good bits and pieces in them and one that is in need of some help... but would be interested in investing in a good set if one was available... I'm also debating making a fibreglass mold to produce amby doors if there was some interest.... let me know haha or if someone else is good with fiberglass and wants to make amby door's I'd be interested....

Appreciate the offer for the window frames Toshi - I'll likely take you up on that.
Vern seems to have the wiper motor mount hardware I need.
And FlyingLow - let me know about the t-case/tranny combo - no rush though. It'll still be here! Like I said - both are unopened - can't vouch for the integrity of the internals. I once had plans for an SM465 + the 2.2:1 t-case, but that hasn't come to pass. But gee - Rob's still dreaming of an Orion some day
