Spring Garage Sale
Hello All,
I thought I'd announce the upcoming 1st Annual PCTSD Garage Sale, to be held at the PCTSD Headquarters in Fort St. John, BC. The date is yet to be determined, but it will be this spring or summer, whenever the snow melts and we can actually find time.
Everyone is invited to attend and help me, Charla and Ray clear out some of our junk. After all, who doesn't need that old blender with the burned-out motor, those ratty and well-worn romance novels from the 1970's or that computer desk made out of particle board and being held together by two rusty nails?
You are also invited to bring your own junk to sell - but be warned, we'll be charging rent for the space you use (or else we'll confiscate your profits)!
Just kidding....we only take 50%.
Anyhoo, I'll likely be advertising on the street and on the FSJ Now website, so keep your eyes peeled for further information.
See you there!

You, mean the *SECRET* headquarters, right? You know, the one right down the street from that place.
I can't wait. I was actually talking about this very upcoming event with a coworker today and she seemed drastically uninterested. But, alas, I shall persevere. Maybe Deny could draw in the crowd if we were to have him washing cars in the buff. Whoo hoo! That'd bring in the 60+crowd. Ha ha. Or, we could haul in Big Red and Whitey and have a small petting zoo. We could use the biproducts in the flower beds.
Did someone say Cruiser parts? Of, course there will be cruiser parts... a giant steaming pool of cruiser parts. I could always sell the ARB I suppose as it's out in the garage...assuming that Deny didn't already come by and swipe it for his truck.
The anticipation is just too much!
Melt damn snow, melt!

good luck with melting snow, it seems to be accumulating right now. Should be a few more months of snow and cold I think.

Deny, I noticed your lack of refusal regarding Charla's "washing cars in the buff" comment. Do I need to put out an R-rated advisory for this event?
I think a petting zoo is a great idea....we could even try and sell some SPLAT (at a discount of course, since the year will likely be half over by then).
We could get the neighbors involved, shut down the whole block even! Our neighborhood seems kinda gung-ho for that kind of stuff...all community-like and friendly. We should definitely take advantage of unsuspecting nice people.
Now I'm starting to get excited....maybe I'll start sorting through my junk this weekend!!!

My lack of comment on the "buff" idea was intentional because the idea was so absurd I decided to ignore it. Thanks for bringing it up

Yeah I hear it now.

"Nice sponge!"

No one will be tipping me, Jeff and I went through the bikini car was 2 years ago when it rolled through town, that was nice! That's the only way to make money, not on a lousy bum like me! So I say the gals of the club should be doing the carwash, now stop bugging me!

Geez Deny, you're kind of sensitive. It's not like half the town hasn't seen you naked before. I don't see what the big deal is.
And anyways, if you're not ok with doing a carwash in the buff, what makes you think it would be ok to exploit the female club members for the same thing?

March 1st today. The time for the Garage Sale is fast approaching!
Now if only the freakin weather would cooperate and WARM UP! Dammit, I'm getting sick of the cold!
Any suggestions for dates? Perhaps mid-May? That gives us 2.5 months.
