3" Exhaust
Just got my rig back from Precision Auto in Kelowna with its new 3" exhaust off the turbo straight out the back, no muffler. I would've liked something mandrel bent but no one does mandrel in Kelowna that I'm aware of. He had to battle with the down pipe bolts but it looks great and sounds better! Was about $500 as he built in a flange on the down pipe. Tom does good work, always goes over things under the vehicle with you before and leaves it up so you can have a look when its done. He did some work on my Mustang's exhaust as well, recommended.
It definitely pulls up the hills better and revs up a lot quicker. Sounds like a dump truck and the turbo, as expected, is way louder. The next step is gauges, boost and fuel!
Pics up in a day or two!

Looks good.
How big was the stock muffler?
I'll bet you got rid of a few pounds from under your truck.

Stock tubing was about 2" and smaller in the bends. It had a massive factory muffler plus a smaller muffler near the tail pipe. I'm definitely a bit lighter, not to mention louder!

Here's a quick video, sound isn't the greatest. Feel free to comment on the weird dry-bearing sound when I turn it off...must be the turbo I guess...

The link above is a video...old digital camera video that'd a little close up but you get the idea. My buddy said it sounds like a semi, need some air horns now!
