Cruiser shops in the Okanagan?
I'd like to find a shop that has some competency dealing with diesel Cruisers. Suggestions?

Unfornately most of us Cruiser Owners tend to be a "thrifty bunch" and try to do most repairs ourselves. (With the help of our Mud friends once we get in too deep .) We all have a list a mile long of where to find to parts. What type of work is needed?

Oh, nothing too major so far, just like to have a couple in mind if needed. I try to do as much as possible myself as well so I can spend money on upgrades .
I need to do front rotors ASAP which, from what I've read, seems like a lot more work than your average vehicle. I'll have to do a clutch in the next 6 months as well I'm thinking and I need to try and tighten up the steering.

I had an alignment done at Penticton Toyota. They had no problem with my vehicle being a RHD. The also said if I sourced the parts, they'd be happy to do any repairs.
Front rotors and pads are an easy 1.5-2 hour job. This is assuming that your calipers won't need replacing. The clutch is a lot harder and I wouldn't be doing that one unless I had a hoist.
4WheelAuto.com should have the bits
Cheers,
John

Thanks,
I heard Penticton Toyota was good with the JDM's as well. I got lazy and just had the rotors done, Sheehan and Kriess in Kelowna did the work, seemed to be knowledgeable...and I can actually stop now!
I plan on heading over to visit family on the Island and will have access to a pit in order to get the clutch done.
The trick, I am finding, is to balance upgrades with repairs...can't really make it better until I fix the little things that are wrong.
