It's part of the territory I cover so I am there a few times each year. Everything is either up or down except for the small strip of land on the South shore where Nelson Int'L Airport is located. It has a wealth of outdoor activity all around it. Lots of good people. If your politics are to the right, you probably won't be too happy there.

Saw a red 40 for sale by the Kootenay River bridge going into Nelson. Looked to be in good condition. The 40 in Midway is still there with a for sale sign on it.
