295 75 16s are just about 33 inches (BFG AT KO) The truck pictured is 4 4.5 inches. I am going to a 3 inch system. If I was buying tires again I might have gone 'skinnier' but like the height of the sidewall.

Sorry. The shaft isn't there yet, damnit! I guess I'm buying a few coldies at the spike next time... I apologize to all involved for the delay. I use the 81 as a business vehicle and put on 100 k or more per day so I looking forward to the swap. Iusually can be found haunting local marinas and shipyards! The bumper is an East Coast Bullbar from Oz. with a Warn 9500.

Why not go custom? Norm had some beauties made by Jason (Cruisin'?), I'm sure he'll chime in here at some point. Mat (fantom) also does fantastic fabrication.

Looking at the Marlincrawler website that for your $200 you get a bunch of parts that you have to weld together before you have actual useful sliders. If you can weld your own that's a great deal.

On the other hand if you want complete sliders that are ready to bolt on to your truck it is going to cost a bit more than that. I don't post prices because they can change (along with the price of steel, etc), and people will dig up old threads. If you are interested in what I have to offer, please get in touch with me.

Yep The lift kit is in Pt. Roberts now- 2 boxes. The CV front shaft was shipped to Frankie in Alabama rather than being dropped directly to Pt. Roberts. Frankie called Tuesday (3rd.) to say he shipped the shaft to Pt. Roberts that morning. I am waiting for the parcel company to let me know when it arrives as I would rather pay storage on the 2 boxes than make two trips to the point, customs etc. So the saga continues. Maybe if there is a CC meeting next week I'll have it all done by then? I had planned a road trip to try all this out but doesn't look like that is gonna happen...
