Coastal Cruiser Xmas Party

December 12 is NOT available at the E&C this year so I've asked for December 5 because I figured that Dec 19 is too close to Xmas for the people planning on going away. Can I have some feedback if Dec 5 is OK? I think last year's party was Dec 6.

The Xmas Party is for current CC members and spouses only. I'll be posting details on the Members Forum after I nail down menu choices and prices.
Raffle prizes will be pretty nice, including a professional mechanic's tool box with roller cabinet, and also a Notebook computer with installed GPS unit and antenna.

Yes, Heidi will be there and is looking forward to serving your needs. I had lunch with her today and she is looking good.

The new date is very good for me. They went and changed the Montreal meeting dates on me to the week following the 5th, so I would not have been able to make the Dec 12 party.

5th is good, although my company has issues with scheduling stuff properly for a week in advance so it might change by the time December hits but I I don't care.

We now have another GREAT PRIZE for the Dec 5 CC Xmas party: its a 10" compounding, sliding mitre saw. This is in addition to the FABULOUS tool box with matching ball-bearing drawered cart, as well as the rad COMPUTER NETBOOK complete with GPS antenna and software. The computer can also be used as usual for WiFi wireless internet and word processing, etc.

Don't forget that the Xmas party is reserved for CC paid up MEMBERS AND SPOUSE/PARTNER ONLY.
(same sex partner OK but we have to see you kiss to verfiy authenticity)

what are the 'take the elevator home' rates this year - I think $89 last year?

Yeah, well, some women just happen to like older men, maybe they feel more secure and safe, not to mention a nice house and a sure meal ticket.

The elevator home rate is the same as last year - around $85-$89. A good deal.

At the upcoming Oct 8 monthly meeting we need an accurate head count of who is coming to the Xmas party and whether you want beef, turkey, or wild salmon.
