AS PER DISCUSSION ON THE LAST MEETING

CHECK OUT THE LINK TO "CRUISER DAYS 2008" UNDER "Announcements"
ON THE MAIN PAGE, SIMPLE - WHAT DO YOU THINK?

THIS IS A PAGE WITH THE WRITE UP ONLY AND NOT LINK TO A LONG FORUM LIKE BEFORE

Very nice, Marcin!

You mention over 100 shiny trucks but when you drill down on Cruiser Days 2008, the write up list 79 I believe.

Small thing though.

Whoa, lets all just slow down a minute here. If you recall, I had my fj40 there, and there is no damn way it was shiny!

Aside from that, I like how that when you click on the link for Cruiser Days it goes that picture with the Ice Cream Man, and the short write up, with links below that.

I know it would be more work, but once a trip is finished, like the recent Whipsaw run for example, it would do a similar thing, instead of directly pointing to half way through the thread on Ih8mud.

Shouldn't be too hard to take the write up that Bill and I did for both trips and paste it with a couple of pics, right?

Also helps it you spell "wipsaw" correctly, it's Whipsaw. Don't you have a spell check on that fancy computer at work?

Apparently Mat needs a spell checker as well, but that would be preaching to the choir

At least the words are spelled, that's grammar issues.

My grammar died back in the nineties. She was old though.

Actually I was referring to a post you made where choir was spelled as 'quire', but I can't find that one now. Not that I notice these things

So perhaps as opposed to "preaching to the choir" the phrase more adequate to that scenario would be "the pot calling the kettle black" .

Out of what? If we really wanted to start something, we could tear into some atrocious spelling and grammar from other people

All kidding aside, just take a minute to download and install a spellchecker plugin for your web browser. I don't think these forums, or most others, have one in their stock form. They won't catch all the mistakes of course, but most of them anyways.

Buy a Mac! The OS has spell check built in, so it works in every app. If you spell something wrong, the word has a red underline. If you right click on the word, it brings up the correct spelling as well as a dictionary. You guys are living in the dark ages... download a spellchecker... sheesh! Next your going to tell me you need to download drivers for printers and things... how 20th century.

Who cares about spelling?

The number one purpose of the internet is communication. If you get your point across, great.
