It has been about 6 months and I am finally hitting the home stretch. The 60 is out of paint. It will get some misc buttoning up like Bumper, ipf lights, etc- then its finally mine. I will post up a detailed write up on the work done after I get the dash in and sound deaden/replace carpet. Then I am cleaning the frame, engine and then chassis black treating it with eastwood. This truck will be better than the day it rolled off the assembly line.

Is very hard- not being of the mechanically inclined( other than fluids or easy stuff) and having the toolset that rivals most 3 year olds, I have farmed my rig out. I will be checking it out next week. It is about an 3 hours away getting an engine swap (2f) and by now should have most of its issues squared away. I only got to drive the damn thing for about a week before I brought it down. I will post up info and pics when its done but for now.....patience.

I figured that maybe I should post something up here. Well my first Landcruiser experience is going as well as can be expected. Bought the truck sight unseen (stupid) got truck home and it didnt really run all that smooth. NP I thought a good tuneup and she'll be purring along- well after mechanic looks at it- no love on cylinder one- can it be driven probably- how long will it last? could be a week, could a year or more. Now my mind starts thinking about why I am getting this truck ... to take...
