Ask Splitshot...
...how I shot him in the forehead with his gun while he was standing behind me. And where in the hell did that bowling ball come from?
Great day John even if I didn't get any birds!!!

John - How did Alvin shoot you in the forehead with your gun while you were standing behind him? And just where the hell did that bowling ball come from?

No one is going to believe we found a bowling ball in the crotch of a tree out in the middle of nowhere..
But we found this bowling ball wedged in the crotch of this tree out in the middle of nowhere. Slow day chashing birds, Alvin decided it would be a cool thing to scratch is itchy finger on, I said try mine, stepped back, and damn if one of those #6's didn't come back and bite me.
Re: where the hell did that bowling ball come from and why the hell was it in a tree??
Was a great day! x2, Yogi, nice to see ya onboard!

Wonder if bowling balls are covered under a migratory license?
Grin. The wife and I did the MP 6 reddington wildcat range yesterday. Didn't get any ricochets, but did get some nice pics of the series 80 rims on my 60. And a lot of blowing dirt. If anyone goes up there and sees a tan FJ60 passenger side fender with a helluva lot of holes in it......I plead the 5th. New Ciener conversion for my AR to make the AR-22 out of my AR-15, and a couple of 1oz deer slugs from the 12g make short work out of even our sheet metal! If its up there next time, I'll snap some photos.
Glenn

Whoever's leaving those vehicle body parts shot full of holes REALLY needs to bring them back and dispose of them properly. Even if they found them there. Don't need to leave the greenies with more "ammo"...

Howdy! Sounds like a target shooter didn't want his target to roll away on him?!?! We found a lot of these out at the 4 Peaks cleanup last year, but they were just loose on the ground. I wonder what caliber it takes to shatter a bowling ball? John

I had some BB duck shot and my .38 spc, but didn't bother shooting either at the defenseless bowling ball.

I didn't realize this was a tree root that had turned over, full of dirt and rocks. Wasn't about to waste my better saw and new chain on it, so back to the house for the beater with the sharp, but worn out chain and bar. Jesse helped me clean most of the dirt out with a screwdriver.
