Headgasket mechanic in Prescott? (FZJ-80)

Well, the truck is up in Prescott with a blown headgasket, as described here:
Real Time - Phoenix: Need a qualified Head Gasket mechanic

I've gotten several of your mechanic references in the Phoenix area, but it
would save time, trouble, and towing expense to have someone in Prescott
do the job.

Recommendations on a good Landcruiser mechanic in Prescott?

On the other hand, what should I expect to pay for transport from Prescott to Phoenix?

Howdy! Check out Iron Springs 4WD on Iron Springs Rd. I had them rebuild my tranny and transfer years ago. My brother lives up there, and they do all of his mechanicals for 25 years. John

Thanks, I did check in with Iron Springs 4wd. They declined the head gasket job but refered me to and endorsed Brinkleys, formerly of Iron Springs Independant Toyota.

In the end I went with Vern at Toy Specialists in Mesa after they smoothed the way with an immediately available tow truck operator they know, at a better price than elsewhere.

So, the truck should already be in their shop, as of late Friday evening.
