Unhappy Words of wisdom for '91 Landcruiser parts

Hi - I'm new to this forum. We have a '91 landcruiser that I want to put a little money into and fix up for my 16 year old son. Problem is, my husband was pulling out a tree stump in the back yard and wrecked the front driver side fender and other parts. (claimed it surged ;-)

I'm looking on the web at salvage places, and looking to pick up some used, cheap body parts, and maybe interior driver seat or dash.

Does anybody have any words of wisdom in how I should go about a web search (my initial search pulled up a $500 fender)?

Boy, I didn't think '91s were worth much now, but I see they are going for >$5000 ... woo hoo.

Any advice is appreciated! Happy Cruising!

Welcome,This is a good place, ebay, specter in calif. Be patient,Land Cruisers were never cheap nor their parts and they make up less than one percent of Toyotas annual sales. Mike

Ya. I'm new here too, but I can tell you from experience that some things are not worth replacing in some cases... If it's cheaper to buy a new truck than replace them, then find a workaround. Start by checking junk yards... I've found good parts in So. Cal. junk yards... it just depends on what you specifically need... sorry i can't be more helpful...
