Is this thing on?

Check one...check one, two...

Anybody use this forum?

I've got numerous emails coming in every day about what the club wants to do.

Why don't we use this forum for that?

Just a thought...

Howdy! I think a lot of AzLCA members were using regular email for the club activities long before MUD came along. Just to lazy/spoiled to change. Works fine for me. John

Well, not trying to rock the boat. I guess I'm used to just the opposite. In the forums, everyone can check out the activity and also potential members or CruiserHeads from other areas or clubs can look in if they are going to be in our neck of the woods and want to play.

I could go either way I guess...

I'm with you Eric. I'm becoming desensitized to my e-mails because of the volume and non-pertinent info being passed. Forums are kind of a la carte, you can participate when and where you want. I'd hate to ask to be removed the distribution list but it may come to that.

Howdy! Nowdays, I do prefer the forum format. Like you said, it's easy, handy, and hi visibility to outsiders that may be interested in joining the club. Pretty much free advertising. I kind of suggested this to Marcel/Garie, but obviously, it didn't happen. Yet?

On the other hand, most email systems can be setup with mailboxes specified for particular senders. I also have to add a lot of spamers/vendors to my Trash list so I never see them. All this new technology can be a pain in the butt sometimes, eh? John
